Following wet and cooler weather to start the week, dry and increasingly hot conditions are expected into late this week.
High pressure will build to the east of Germany from Wednesday through Saturday, resulting in an extended period of dry weather.
This area of high pressure will also create unseasonable warmth from France through all of Germany.

The warmth will begin to build on Wednesday before peaking on Thursday.
High temperatures on Wednesday will range from 24-27 C (75-80 F) from Stuttgart to Frankfurt and Cologne eastward to Dresden and Berlin.
Thursday's high temperatures will be 28-30 C (82-86 F) across the same areas. Temperatures will approach 27 C (80 F) in northern areas such as Hamburg and Kiel.
High pressure will remain in control on Friday and Saturday, continuing the stretch of dry weather across the country. Temperatures will remain unseasonably warm both days.

Along with the dry weather, skies will be partly to mostly sunny each day from Wednesday through Saturday.
The combination of warmth and dry weather will yield pleasant conditions for anyone going to events such as the Rheingau Wine Festival in Frankfurt or Reichsstadt Festival in Rothenburg.
Warm and dry weather will also be ideal for Bundesliga matches on Friday and Saturday. Sunday's matches could face adverse weather.
A cold front will arrive on Sunday bringing an end to the unseasonable warmth and also unleashing a round of showers and thunderstorms to end the weekend.
