Lisa Now a Tropical Depression; Demise Forecast Soon

Tropical Depression Lisa is forecast to weaken over the next couple of days as it encounters strong winds aloft.
Lisa was located nearly 1000 miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands, as of Friday evening.

Current Storm Information
Lisa will move northwest into the central Atlantic Ocean during the next several days, according to the National Hurricane Center forecast.
Therefore, this system is no threat to either the Caribbean basin or the U.S. East Coast.

Projected Path
As the system gains latitude, increasing wind shear and dry air will lead to its demise over the weekend.
