Following a wet and stormy start to the Easter weekend in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Easter Sunday will feature tranquil and warmer conditions.
In the wake of rain and thunderstorms Friday night, a chilly, gusty wind may make being outdoors rather unpleasant on Saturday.
The wind could lead to sporadic airline delays.

While a storm is forecast to pass nearby on Easter Sunday, a west to southwest flow of milder air will being to flow across the immediate area.
Temperatures will climb well into the 60s on Sunday with at least partial sunshine. A few locations may approach 70.

For those traveling to the north, the storm on Sunday is projected to spread a swath of wet snow and rain across upstate New York and part of New England.
Warm conditions are in the offing for travelers on Monday. However, while the overall pattern looks mild for the middle days of the week, a moist flow off the Atlantic Ocean and a slow-moving storm approaching from the Midwest will produce clouds and rounds of chilly rain and drizzle.
More lasting warmth will follow late next week.
