Boston: Easter Weekend to End Tranquil

Following a wet and stormy start to the Easter weekend in Boston, Easter Sunday will feature tranquil conditions.
In the wake of rain and spotty thunder into early Saturday, a chilly, gusty wind may make being outdoors rather unpleasant on Saturday.
The wind could lead to sporadic airline delays.

A storm is forecast to approach from the west on Easter Sunday with increasing clouds. However, with less wind it will feel much less harsh.
Temperatures will climb to near 50 on Sunday with sunshine for at least the morning hours.

The storm on Sunday is projected to spread a narrow swath of wet snow and rain across upstate New York and western New England. The precipitation could reach the Boston area by Sunday night.
Milder conditions are in the offing for travelers on Monday. A moist flow off the Atlantic Ocean and a slow-moving storm approaching from the Midwest will produce clouds and rounds of chilly rain and drizzle for the middle days of the week.
More lasting warmth will follow late next week.
