Boston: Chill to Make a Comeback at Midweek

Instead of spring warmth surging northward, chilly air will make a comeback around Boston during the middle of this week.
Temperatures will rise to within a couple degrees of the normal early April high of the lower 50s on Monday and Tuesday.
Farther to the south in the mid-Atlantic is where jackets can be left at home. Baseball fans heading to Philadelphia on Monday to watch the Red Sox open the season at Citizens Bank Park against the Phillies will be treated to temperatures flirting with the 70-degree mark.
Dry weather will compliment the mild air in Philadelphia as sunshine mixes with some clouds.

Residents in Boston, however, will have to keep an umbrella handy early this week.
A passing shower or two to start the week will be followed by steadier rain arriving Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday is shaping up to be the dreariest day of the week as occasional rain and drizzle persists and chilly air makes a comeback. Temperatures this day will fail to rise out of the 30s as a brisk wind creates even lower AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.

The clouds and chill will persist into Thursday before temperatures rebound back closer to normal on Friday. An approaching cold front, however, may not allow Friday to turn out dry.
