Nor'easter Snow From Maryland to Maine

While a powerful nor'easter lashes the Sandy-ravaged coast, snow will fall over a narrow swath of the Northeast Wednesday night into Thursday.
A storm that slid off the East coast on Tuesday is now a powerful nor'easter south of Cape Cod, Mass.
The storm is unleashing high winds, coastal flooding, cold rain and wet snow.

Powerful Nor'easter to Further Damage Sandy-Ravaged Areas
"Hard to believe we are getting SNOW out of a HURRICANE in West Virginia. Insane!" tweeted Dylan Dreyer on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. This storm is following quick on the heels of Sandy.
Colder air across the interior Northeast will allow snow to mix in or fall alone through Wednesday night. A narrow band of accumulating snow has developed as suspected on the backside of the storm near Interstate 95.
Snowflakes will fly west and east of Interstate 95 in the mid-Atlantic and New England as well.
Snow was falling and accumulating in areas that were hit hard by Sandy just over a week ago.
The heaviest snow, with the potential for a half a foot of accumulation will fall from extreme northeastern Pennsylvania to interior New Jersey to part of southeastern New York and western Connecticut.
A separate zone with similar totals will unfold across central New England.
Hilly and higher elevations in these areas will pick up the most snow. Much less snow will accumulate on roadways. However, enough snow can fall to make some roads slushy and slippery outside of major urban areas.
The weight of snow may be enough to down some tree branches onto power lines. Scattered power outages are not out of the question.
Motorists are cautioned that untreated areas that became wet from the storm can become icy late Wednesday into early Thursday morning.
High winds could add further stress to tree limbs across the interior Northeast, while also contributing to wintry AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.
