While little is expected in accumulation, snow will continue across the Detroit area into the first half of the new week.
Temperatures through the weekend will near 40 F before sinking back into the low 30s early in the new week.
A weak storm will pass by just to the north of Michigan Saturday night, bringing a little snow and rain to the area.
With temperatures near freezing, a few slick spots can develop, especially late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
A few snow showers can persist on Sunday, but little to no accumulation should be expected, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline said.

A period of dry weather will settle in briefly on Monday, but a quick moving storm will bring a little more snow on Tuesday.
"This next storm can bring snowfall up to one inch, perhaps bringing a slick commute home on Tuesday," Mussoline added.
