Warm Spell Returns to Los Angeles

Above-normal temperatures will be the rule through Thursday in the Los Angeles area.
Daytime highs will rise into the upper 80s in downtown Los Angeles and around 80 F along the coast by late week.
The normal high for this time of October is 73 F. The higher temperatures will continue during a month that has seen the average temperature increase about 5 degrees above normal.

There may be low morning clouds that may cause travel delays for flyers at Los Angeles International Airport.
Evening lows are expected in the low to mid-60s each day.
The next chance of rain for the region is possible toward the end of the month.
