Philly: Rebounding Temperatures to Replace Sunday's Chill

As fast as cooler air moved into Philadelphia to end the weekend, temperatures will rebound for the start of the new week.
The quick return of a southerly flow of air will cause temperatures to be on the rise Monday through Tuesday.
A breeze on Monday will take away from some of the warmth, while clouds will limit sunshine on Tuesday. Regardless, temperatures will still soar a few degrees above the typical early October high of near 70 F.
A shower will also return Tuesday afternoon, but the day will be far from a washout. Only brief interruptions to outdoor activities can be expected and some places will remain dry.

The mild weather will hold through Wednesday before temperatures once again take a tumble for later in the week. However, the late-week cool press will not be as intense as what chilled the city on Sunday.
