Following a nice end to the weekend, the new week will start off just as nice with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures and humidity.
High temperatures on Monday will reach into the upper 70s with only a few afternoon clouds around.
Fans looking to tailgate before Monday night's Detroit Lions home game against the New York Giants should see plenty of sunshine leading up to the 6:10 p.m. CST kickoff.
The threat of thunderstorms will return on Tuesday and Wednesday, with Wednesday seeing a chance for stronger storms. Highs will remain in the upper 70s to near 80.
