A rather typical for late summer weather pattern will continue for Taiwan as abundant tropical moisture contributes to locally heavy downpours.
Eventually, as thunderstorms continue to develop day after day, localized flooding results. Though there is no organized system affecting Taiwan, rainfall will continue across the nation over the next several days.

This wet weather will not be limited just to Taiwan. The torrential downpours will extend into southeastern China as well. Soaking rain will fall in Hong Kong on Wednesday that will lead to travel delays and localized flooding as well, especially in low-lying and poor drainage locations.
