After locally-drenching storms moved in to the Bay Area earlier this week, dry and sunny weather is in store for the foreseeable future.
"Sunshine will mix with some clouds Wednesday with afternoon temperatures topping off in the lower and middle 70s, not far from the average for this time of year," said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Carl Erickson.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the low 70s through Friday. Areas of low clouds on Thursday, could cause flight delays for travelers out of San Francisco International Airport. The clouds will eventually give way to sunny skies.

Overnight lows through Friday will hover in the upper 50s.
Erickson said the late night and early morning low cloud coverage will persist through the weekend, with the clouds giving way to sunshine each day. Temperatures will remain in the low 70s.
