After a beautiful weekend in Philadelphia, a bout of drenching thunderstorms is on the way, which will lead to a threat for flash and urban flooding.
Monday will start out nice with a good deal of sunshine and high temperatures right around normal, near 86 degrees.
Clouds will begin to increase Monday night as low pressure lifts into the eastern Great Lakes.
Showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread on Tuesday before becoming heavy at times late in the day into Tuesday evening.

The evening commute Tuesday could be very difficult. Commuters may even have to dodge some detours around any localized flooding problems that develop.
Two to four inches of rain will fall on Philadelphia from Tuesday into Tuesday night before drier air moves in Wednesday afternoon.
