Refreshing Conditions Sweep Into Baltimore

July 17,2014; 8:52PM,EDT

Weather conditions will continue to improve in Baltimore as the storm system that brought heavy rain and high winds to the Atlantic coast earlier this week moves out to sea.
It will be notably more refreshing as cooler, less humid air begins to settle into the city and especially the northern and western suburbs into Friday.

Temperatures will be slightly below average through the end of the week, but a warming trend will occur over this weekend as Artscape, America's largest free arts festival swings into high gear in the city.

Humidity will begin to rise this weekend and the risk for showers and thunderstorm return to the forecast on Monday afternoon.
AccuWeather meteorologists will be monitoring an area of disturbed weather and tropical moisture along the Atlantic Coast this weekend. There is a chance that this moisture could spread a period of clouds and rain along the beaches from the mid-Atlantic to Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
