Philly: Low Humidity to Keep Rain Away Through Saturday

Drier air will settle into the Philadelphia area and at the Shore into the first part of the weekend.
While record chill will stay in the Midwest, the weather pattern through Saturday will offer low humidity, partial sunshine and cooler-than-average temperatures for July.
The weather will be ideal for most outdoor activities ranging from jogging and baseball to construction and yard work.

Temperatures at night will dip into the 50s in the northern and western suburbs but will stop in the middle 60s in urban areas and at the beach.
Rain will stay away on Saturday for the Dog Days of Summer Cook-Off in Philadelphia.
The risk of thunderstorm activity will increase beginning Sunday as temperature and humidity levels gradually increase. However, much of the time on Sunday will be free of rain.

The pattern coming next week will feature very warm and humid conditions with a daily chance of thunderstorms away from the beaches. Folks who mind high humidity and typical summer warmth will want to get their fill outdoors over the next few days when conditions are less extreme.
AccuWeather meteorologists will be monitoring an area of disturbed weather and tropical moisture along the Atlantic Coast this weekend. There is a chance that this moisture could spread a period of clouds and rain from the beaches of the mid-Atlantic to Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
