...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6PM THIS EVENING TO 10AM MDT SATURDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6PM THIS EVENING TO 10AM MDT SATURDAY.
* SUMMARY AND TIMING...SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP THIS EVENING WITH WIDESPREAD SNOW EXPECTED LATER THIS EVENING INTO SATURDAY MORNING.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 3 INCHES WITH UP TO 4 INCHES NEAR CASPER MOUNTAIN AND IN HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS.
* WIND AND VISIBILITY...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH COMBINED WITH PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW WILL OCCASIONALLY DROP THE VISIBILITY UNDER ONE HALF MILE.
* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO THE 20S WILL LIKELY CREATE SLICK ROADS TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING.
