Rain, mountain snow and cooler air are on the way Thursday.
"The storm system that has been bringing rain to the area will weaken, and some showers and mountain snow will linger," said AccuWeather Meteorologist Andy Mussoline.
Snow in the Cascades at elevations above 2,500 could accumulate a few inches before it ends on Thursday. Slippery road conditions will be a concern for roads over the passes.
"Overnight, temperatures will settle into a low in the upper 30s in most areas," Mussoline said. "Cold air from the north will move in on Thursday, and temperatures will struggle to reach 50 degrees F."
