Here's the US National Weather Forecast for Sunday,October 7,2012,as of 10AM,EDT/ 7AM,PDT,October 7,2012,from weatherunderground.com,enjoy:
The East will be cool and rainy on Sunday as a cold front slowly moves
through the Eastern half of the nation. A broad low pressure system
spinning in eastern Canada starts to lift northeastward but allows for a
cold front to continue moving through the East. The northern side of
this front will move away from the Northeast, allowing for showers to
taper off early in the day for the far Northeast. However, the tail end
of this front will move northeastward from the Tennessee Valley, and
produce a few more rain showers from Tennessee into New York, making its
way to the Eastern Seaboard in the evening hours. Heavy rainfall and
strong storms are not anticipated along this front, but significantly
cooler air will spread eastward as this front passes. Expect high
temperatures to remain in the 40s and 50s for the Plains and Midwest,
moving into the Northeast. Parts of the Southern Plains will see high
temperatures about 20 to 30 degrees below seasonable. Some ares of the
Northeast Northeast will experience a temperature drop by 15 to 20
degrees from Saturday. Overnight low temperatures will drop into the 20s
and 30s for most of the Plains and Eastern Valleys, thus, frost and
freeze advisories will remain in effect through Sunday morning.
Meanwhile in Florida, showers and thunderstorms will persist as a
stationary front lingers over the Gulf of Mexico. Severe storms and
heavy rainfall are not anticipated along this system. To the north, cool
flow from Canada over the Great Lakes will allow for lake effect rain
showers to persist over most of the down wind shores of the lakes. Heavy
rainfall is not anticipated in these areas on Sunday.
