LIVE: Severe Storms Target Monroe, La. to Nashville

A line of severe thunderstorms, bringing strong winds, are passing through the Mississippi Valley this evening. After slamming St. Louis earlier, the Tennessee Valley is next in the line of fire.
The greatest risks from the storm will be strong winds, heavy downpours, hail and an isolated tornado or two.

10:30 p.m. CDT: Storm spotters reported a tornado crossing Grenada Lake in Mississippi.
9:05 p.m. CDT: Highest tornado threat shifting south toward northern Louisiana and northern Mississippi over the next couple of hours.
8:46 p.m. CDT: Possible tornado tracking toward Red Banks and Holly Springs, Miss.
8:32 p.m. CDT: Funnel cloud spotted 4 miles southwest of Lexa, Ark.
8:25 p.m. CDT: Possible tornado from the same thunderstorms that produced one near Jericho, Ark. moving quickly east just to the north and east of Memphis. Additional tornadoes threatening northwest Mississippi. Take cover!
7:55 p.m. CDT: Tornado crossed Interstate 55 near Jericho, Ark.
7:50 p.m. CDT: A dangerous line of thunderstorms stretched from Paducah, Ky. southwest into Memphis, Tenn. and Little Rock, Ark. will advance east over the next couple of hours. Damaging winds, torrential downpours, and tornadoes will remain a risk.
7:40 p.m. CDT: Damage from suspected tornado in Clarendon, Ark. A building was damaged along with many trees and power lines blown down.
7:40 p.m. CDT: Doppler indicated tornado passing just northwest of Memphis, Tenn.
7:37 p.m. CDT: Trees and power lines down in Clarendon, Ark.
6:12 p.m. CDT: Power pole and wires down in Dupo, Ill.
6:05 p.m. CDT: 60 mph wind gust reported in St. Charles County, Mo.
5:25 p.m. CDT: The NWS has issued a Tornado Watch through 2:00 a.m. for Arkansas, southern Illinois, western Kentucky, southeast Missouri, northwest Mississippi and western Tennessee. 2 inch hail and 75 mph wind gusts are possible.
5:05 p.m. CDT: 60 mph winds reported in St. Charles County, Mo.
4:45 p.m. CDT: Trees down in St. Louis, Mo. as a result of thunderstorm winds.
4:42 p.m. CDT: Power lines down throughout Warren County, Mo.
4:15 p.m. CDT: Trees downed in Rosebud, Mo as a result of thunderstorm winds.
