WINDS WILL GUST AS HIGH AS 40 MPH ON MONDAY AS POST TROPICAL
CYCLONE HERMINE MEANDERS WELL SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF EASTERN LONG
ISLAND.

WITH SUSTAINED WINDS TO REMAIN BELOW TROPICAL STORM FORCE IN THE
LOCAL AREA, THE TROPICAL STORM WARNING HAS BE DISCONTINUED.

RESIDENTS SHOULD CONTINUE TO PROTECT OBJECTS THAT ARE PRONE TO
WINDY CONDITIONS SUCH AS CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL, PATIO FURNITURE/UMBRELLAS
AND GARBAGE CANS.

HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD EXERCISE EXTRA CAUTION ON ELEVATED
ROADWAYS AND BRIDGES WHERE WINDS COULD GUST AT TIMES TO 45 MPH.
