A pair of storm systems will impact the United Kingdom this weekend and spoil some outdoor plans.
On Saturday, a cold front will brings rain and occasional downpours to parts of England.
The rain could impact Bestival on Isle of Wight and Goodwood Revival events. A three- to six-hour period of rain is expected at both events along with wind gusts to around 30 mph (48 km/h). The high temperature will hover near 19 C (66 F) at both events.
Conditions will improve by Sunday, however. While temperatures will again climb to around 19 C (66 F), dry weather will prevail along with a mixture of cloud and sun. Light to moderate winds from the southwest will occur throughout the day.
Rain is expected in London throughout the day on Saturday; however, the heaviest totals are expected during the morning and midday hours. Conditions will improve during the evening ahead of Proms in the Park at Hyde Park.
A second storm system will impact parts of northern England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland on Sunday.
While Saturday will yield largely dry weather, Sunday will turn more unsettled with spells of rain and blustery winds.
The strongest winds will impact parts of Northern Ireland and western Scotland with wind gusts up to 50 mph (80 km/h) are possible.

Rain will increase during the morning hours across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. The heaviest rain will not reach northern England or eastern Scotland until the afternoon hours.
The Great North Run will take place between Newcastle and South Shields Sunday morning. The event, which includes more than 50,000 participants, is expected to avoid any rainfall.
Rain is possible late in the afternoon, following the race. The biggest impact to the runners could be gusty southwest winds. Peak gusts could reach 30 mph (48 km/h).
Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day with temperatures peaking around 17-18 C (62-64 F).
