Those hoping to leave their wellies at home during this year's Glastonbury Festival may want to think twice: Showery weather is in the offing for nearly each day of the event.
The five-day music festival, which begins on Wednesday, 22 June, is expected to attract more than 137,000 fans this year, according to the Met Office.
The morning on Wednesday could start off with areas of fog, following some intermittent rain on Tuesday night.
"There is a risk of the odd shower or two on Wednesday for the start of the festival, but overall, it does not look like a washout day," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Jason Nicholls said.
A rumble of thunder is also possible across the region on Wednesday.
Spectators will want keep their jumpers and wellies handy for the entire week, as showery weather will likely be the flavor of much of the festival.

"Brief showers are going to move into the area each day, but all of the heavy rain will miss Glastonbury to the east," Roys said.
The forecast is good news for the city which has a history of flooding after heavy rain, often during the annual five-day event.
With no washout expected during the weekend, spectators will be able to enjoy the weekend's big acts at the Pyramid Stage, including Adele and Coldplay. However, odd showers could muddy the grounds.
Throughout the week, some intervals of sunshine are possible, especially on Friday and Saturday. Any longer duration of sunshine could require sun cream.
The extreme heat from 2010 Glastonbury festivities is not expected. That year, temperatures peaked at a balmy 27 C (81 F).
Afternoon highs for the the region this year are expected to remain comfortable, with temperatures between 18 and 21 degrees C (65-70F). Lows each night will be seasonable, dipping down into the lower teens Celsius (50-55 F).
