Heavy thunderstorms will continue to track eastward across portions of Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia Thursday morning.
Storms reached their peak Wednesday night when multiple tornado warnings were issued in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Several tornadoes were reported in Illinois.
Heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts will be the main threats from lingering storms during Thursday morning, according to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski.
Storms could lead to travel delays, flash flooding, property and tree damage and power outages.
