The warmest weather since Christmas will move into the Dallas area by the weekend.
High temperatures are forecast to rise by a few degrees each day, eventually reaching 70 F on Friday, followed by the mid-70s on Saturday and Sunday.
The last time that Dallas recorded temperatures in the 70s was Dec. 28, 2015.
Dry conditions are expected to accompany the warm weather, providing an excellent opportunity for people to head outside to enjoy the warmth.

The new week will bring a new weather pattern to Dallas as temperatures fall and the chance of rain returns.
A few showers and thunderstorms may move through late on Monday or on Tuesday, but will quickly depart by Tuesday night.
Temperatures are forecast to fall into the 50s by Tuesday, temperatures more typical for the end of January.
