Monday is shaping up to be the nicest day of the new week with the return of rain and cooler air on the horizon.
Harrisburg will remain on the warm side of a frontal boundary draped across the Northeast.
With cold and snow locked up to the north, temperatures on Monday in Harrisburg will rebound to around the 70-degree mark.
Monday will be a great day for any outdoor activities or sporting events. Dry weather will compliment the mild air underneath sunshine and some clouds.

Temperatures will remain above normal on Tuesday, but the return of rain will force residents to grab umbrellas out of the closet.
A high near 60 F is more typical this time of year.

For those leaving jackets at home through Tuesday, they will once again have to be brought out of the closet on Wednesday. As a bit of rain persists, cooler air will plunge down from the north and hold temperatures to the 50s.

The dreary weather will hang on through Thursday before milder air returns for Friday. An approaching cold front, however, may not allow Friday to turn out dry.
