The Minneapolis area will see one more day of storms before a reprieve from the unsettled weather arrives Tuesday.
After the weekend ended with temperatures in the upper 80s, Monday will be cooler with highs around 81 F. There will be a chance for a shower or thunderstorm throughout the day and into the evening hours.
Conditions take a turn for the better by Tuesday, as it will be partly sunny and humid with temperatures around 80 F.
The Minnesota Twins will host the San Diego Padres in a brief two-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday at Target Field. Conditions look good for baseball for Tuesday's 7:10 p.m. CDT matchup and Wednesday's 12:10 p.m. game.
Overnight lows will remain in the low 60s through Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday will be pleasant with time of clouds and sun and highs around 84 F. The normal high temperature for this time of year is 82 F.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the threat for showers and thunderstorms returns Saturday and Sunday.
