LIVE: Severe Storms Threaten North-Central Plains

Severe, damaging storms are wreaking havoc for many across the north-central United States on Sunday night.
The violent storms are bringing damaging winds, flooding downpours and large hail.
"The hardest hit areas over the next several hours will stretch from central and northeastern Kansas, western and central Iowa, southeastern Nebraska, northwestern Missouri and into southern Minnesota," said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Carl Erickson.

11:27 p.m. CDT Sunday: Storms force suspension of Indians-Royals baseball game.
11:25 p.m. CDT Sunday: More than 9,400 Iowa power customers are without service, utilities report.
11:19 p.m. CDT Sunday: 60 mph gust 1 mile west-northwest of Independence, Iowa, reports trained spotter.

10:51 p.m. CDT Sunday: Several vehicles stalled in flash-flood waters 2 miles east-southeast of Des Moines International Airport, reports fire department.
10:38 p.m. CDT Sunday: Numerous sections of Highway 44 around Dallas Center, Iowa, are flooded, emergency management reports.
10:28 p.m. CDT Sunday: Storms force rain delay between Cleveland Indians-Kansas City Royals with the Indians leading 4-2 in the bottom of the 10th inning at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
