Colorado Flooding On Vine: Quick Clips Of Chaos

Citizens of Colorado continue to reel from devastating floods across much of the state. At least three people have died, and thousands have been evacuated, after days of heavy rain brought flooding to several counties. Some people have recorded the shocking damage of the rampaging water online. Below are a few quick clips of chaos.

Surging flood water and mudslides resulting from the rain have washed away roads and highways. One man died after his car was swamped by the floods. A woman in the same car was swept away and is still missing. Several vehicles, like the one above, were knocked off the road without loss of life.

Debris and mud from the mountainside outside Boulder were dislodged by the rain, turning into mudslides that choked waterways and turned creeks into violent torrents.

"When you're trying to fight a force like this ... it's pretty much futile," said Mike Seidel, meteorologist for The Weather Channel, live from Boulder on Friday morning.

The rain that brought this destruction to Colorado continues to fall as of Friday.
