Mostly clear, cool and rain-free weather will continue over the New York area into Saturday.
High pressure that had its origins from northern Canada will be in control.
The fair weather system will bring bright sunshine each day.
The nights will be mostly clear and cool.
You will need a jacket and long sleeves if you are going to the Yankees/Rays games and or the Mets/Brewers games late this week.
Patchy fog morning along the river valleys to the north and west may slow some travelers down that commute by vehicle.
