Tropical Storm Tina Forms Off the Coast of Mexico

Current Storm Status
Tropical Storm Tina has formed off the west coast of Mexico and is expected to produce several inches of rain over portions of Colima and western Jalisco in Mexico through Monday.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Tropical Storm Tina has formed about 185 miles west of Manzanillo, Mexico, as of Sunday night.
  • Tina is expected to produce 3 to 6 inches of rain over parts of Colima and western Jalisco through Monday.
  • The tropical storm is currently moving north, but will take a turn toward the northwest and west-northwest on Monday.
  • Weakening is expected Monday, and Tina is forecast to become a remnant low by Tuesday.
