Warmth and sunshine are expected in Detroit this week, despite some unsettled weather.
The beginning of the week will be pleasant and dry with temperatures in the mid-60s F. A normal high temperature for early May in the region is 63 F.

"A cold front moving in on Wednesday will bring cooler air with temperatures in the upper 50s and some showers," Accuweather Meteorologist Brian Thompson said.
The rain will clear up, but Thursday will be windy with few breaks of sunshine, according to Thompson.

Cooler conditions will depart in time for the weekend, with dry and sunny days in the high 60s to mid-70s.
However, another cold front will bring showers back to the region early next week.
