Eight people were killed and another forty people were injured as a charter bus was involved in a rollover accident in southern Texas on Saturday, the Associated Press reported.
The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 83 near the town of Laredo, according to the Laredo Morning Times. Officials were still investigating the cause of the accident.
The bus was heading to a casino in Eagle Pass, Texas, about 125 miles north of Laredo, the AP said.

The Texas Department of Transportation closed a stretch of U.S. 83 near the Dimmit County and Webb County line. The road was later reopened around 5:30 p.m. local time.
"Some heavy thunderstorms were in the vicinity of Laredo during the time of the bus crash," according to AccuWeather Meteorologist Renee Duff.
Saturday's bus crash currently stands as "one of the deadliest bus accidents in Texas in the last several years," according to the AP.
