A fast-moving storm system will bring the threat for flooding to areas from France to Germany and Poland during the middle of the week.
Cities that are in the path of this heavy rainfall include Lyon, Geneva, Zurich, Munich, Prague, Berlin, Wroclaw, Warsaw and Minsk.
Rain and thunderstorms will move across the Pyrenees and southern France Wednesday morning as the storm system becomes more organized. Coverage of rain and thunderstorms will then become more widespread in the afternoon and the strongest storms will produce torrential rainfall, with isolated damaging winds and hail.

Storms will rapidly advance northeastward during the afternoon impacting eastern France, Switzerland and southern Germany.
Moving into Wednesday night, these storms will roar through southern Germany and into Czech Republic and Poland. The main threat will continue to be flash flooding; however, the strongest storms will again be capable of producing damaging winds and hail.
