Highlights:
- Tropical Depression Seven-E was upgraded to Tropical Storm Felicia Thursday morning. Felicia was then downgraded to a tropical depression again late Thursday evening.
- Felicia is located more than 400 miles southwest of Los Cabos, Mexico.
- Felicia is being hampered by northerly wind shear, displacing thunderstorms to the southeast of its center of circulation.
- Therefore, Felicia has virtually no window to strengthen.
- This system is expected to move northwest through Friday, then bend west this weekend, degenerating to a remnant low. It's possible that Felicia could become a remant low even sooner given the hostile atmospheric conditions that are in place.
- There is no threat to land.
