Cleveland: Wintry Mix to Yield Slippery Weekend

The weekend in the Cleveland area will bring an onslaught of rain, snow and ice before a cold shot invades the region early next week.
Icy spots will impact motorists into Saturday afternoon before temperatures subside and precipitation turns to rain, according to AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Maggie Samuhel.

If headed out on the roads, stay alert to rapidly changing conditions with MinuteCast® to track rain down to your precise location.
By early Sunday morning, the precipitation will be a mix of snow and rain, with temperatures hovering around the 50-degree mark.
The storm will further develop throughout the day amid windy conditions. Strong gusts could reach near 30 mph.

Temperatures will also take a sharp drop from Sunday into Monday. The first few days of the week will plummet between 20 and 30 degrees with more opportunities for snow.
