Minneapolis: Storms to Start the New Week

Thunderstorms will rattle parts of the Minneapolis area to start the new week before more comfortable air arrives.
Another seasonably warm day will unfold on Monday with temperatures rising into the lower 80s.
The warmth will help fuel a shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening hours. The greatest threat for the thunderstorms to turn severe lies south of the Twin Cities.
Another shower or thunderstorm will be around on Tuesday, but a gusty breeze will be ushering in slightly cooler and less humid air.

While dry weather returns on Wednesday, high pressure will keep high heat and humidity away. Temperatures on Wednesday will actually be cool for July, only rising to the middle 70s.
