Cleveland: Stormy Start to the Week

Cleveland will begin the new week under the threat of strong thunderstorms for Monday and Tuesday.
The threat for isolated thunderstorms around the Cleveland area will linger throughout the day on Monday. The storms are expected to bring damaging winds and last into the evening hours.

On Tuesday, heavy, gusty thunderstorms will be more widespread and move into the area later in the afternoon, with the chance of a shower remaining through the evening.
Weather delays or cancellations could be in store for Monday or Tuesday night's games between the Indians and Yankees at Progressive Field. Monday's game is scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. start while Tuesday night's game will get underway at 7:05 p.m.
Temperatures through Tuesday will be in the low 80s before moving into the upper 70s on Wednesday.

Overnight lows through Wednesday will range from the upper to lower 60s.
Looking ahead to later in the week, sunny and comfortable weather is in store for Thursday and Friday before the threat of thunderstorms returns for the weekend.
