Locally gusty, drenching storms will fire in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, area at midweek but will be followed by another drop in heat and humidity.
After temperatures flirt with 90-degree-F mark and AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures peak well into the 90s once again, storms will approach from the northwest and build nearby.
According to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dave Dombek, "Most storms will stop short of being severe, but there is a risk of isolated storms downing some trees, causing power outages and producing flash flooding."

The greatest risk for severe weather in south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland will be on Tuesday.
"It is possible the risk of severe weather splits on Wednesday with one area aiming farther south and another area lifting north of the region," Dombek said.

For people heading to the beaches, each day this week will be warm enough for swimming and the risk of storms will generally be limited to the evening hours Tuesday and Wednesday.
During Thursday and Friday, high temperatures are projected to be in the lower 80s with lowering humidity. However, the cooler and less humid air will be significantly less impressive, when compared to prior outbreaks in recent weeks.
