Winter weather advisories remained in effect for the back side of this system as snow showers lingered over the Midwest from Illinois through Ohio.

Meanwhile to the south, scattered rain showers developed south of this system due to above freezing temperatures. Further south, the tail end of a cold front lingered over Florida and the Gulf of Mexico, which allowed for a few scattered showers to pop up over the state.
