A storm system will bring snow and ice to parts of the mid-Atlantic and the South through Monday.
"Snow will spread along the Ohio River this evening and south of the Mason-Dixon line the first half of the evening," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Dan DePodwin said.
Travel conditions are expected to rapidly deteriorate in Washington, D.C., after dark Sunday.

Ice will also be a factor for some motorists but there shouldn't be as much of a threat for power outages as there had been with recent storms.
"The ice concern will begin after midnight across southwestern Virginia and far northern North Carolina," DePodwin said.
"Roads will be icy for the morning commute, particularly in areas such as Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Raleigh, N.C., and Lynchburg, Va."
Behind the storm, it will be very chilly, raw and damp Monday and Tuesday from the Mason-Dixon line through the Carolinas. Temperatures will be about 10 to 20 degrees below normal.
"There may be ice from another storm that will affect many of the same areas, and it may also be toward Washington, D.C.," DePodwin said.
