The recent surge of mild air across the United Kingdom will come to an end this weekend as rain spreads over the region.
Moisture from the Atlantic Ocean will fuel rain across Wales and England on Saturday before cooler, drier air arrives on Sunday.
While a significant cold shot will not arrive, temperatures will fall back closer to normal levels by Sunday.
Following highs of 13-15 C (55-59 F) to end the week, highs on Sunday will range from 7-10 C (45-50 F) throughout most of the U.K.
A steady rain will dampen the day on Saturday across much of Wales and England.
The heaviest rainfall is expected from southwest England through Wales and the Midlands. Around 6-19 mm (0.25-0.75 of an inch) of rain will fall.
No widespread flooding is expected, but there may be localized travel disruptions.
Greater London will miss the heaviest rainfall.
"A little rain will arrive on Saturday afternoon before a steadier spell follows for the evening hours," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said.

The cooler air will first spread into Northern Ireland and Scotland on Saturday, accompanied by a moderate to fresh breeze.
"There will also be scattered showers, the most numerous of which will stream onto northern and western areas," Pydynowski said.
An odd shower will linger over northern and western Scotland on Sunday as high pressure leads to a dry and cooler day in Wales and England.
"More numerous showery spells will return early next week as a pair of systems reach the U.K.," Pydynowski said.
