...Patchy Black Ice Overnight on Untreated Surfaces...
With temperatures forecast to fall into the upper 20s overnight
and residual water from the rain and snowmelt of today on area
roadways and sidewalks, there is the potential for black ice
formation overnight across interior portions of Southern
Connecticut, the Lower Hudson Valley and Western Passaic and
Bergen Counties. The greatest threat for black ice formation is on
any untreated surfaces.
If you are out in the area overnight, be on the lookout for slick
spots on roadways and sidewalks.
