The hot and muggy conditions which has plagued the city for the past several days will come to an end on Wednesday when a front passes through the area.
High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 80s F until heavy thunderstorms move into the city during the afternoon hours on Wednesday.

Ahead of the cold front, conditions will be more comfortable and pleasant for residents living in Detroit. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s on Thursday with mostly sunny skies and a light breeze.
The weather will be ideal during the second half of the week to hit the beach or the pool. Nighttime conditions will be relatively mild with temperatures dropping into the mid-60s.
