Spring will be in full swing for the new week around Philadelphia with mild air and sunshine set to dominate, a welcome change from the recent chilly and dreary spell.
While Saturday featured a dramatic improvement over the dull and dreary late-week, the weekend will end on an even more spectacular note.
After a cool morning, temperatures on Sunday are set to soar into the middle 60s underneath bright sunshine. A breeze creating lower AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures will be absent.
A high in the lower 60s is more common this time of year.

Those who have yet to finalize their taxes may regret not doing so when it was cloudy and damp.
It will be hard to resist the temptation to get outdoors for a walk, hike or other activities. The weather will be perfect for baseball fans to head to Citizens Bank Park to watch the Phillies complete their series with the Washington Nationals.
Monday will feature further warming, allowing temperatures to flirt with the 70-degree mark despite some clouds filtering overhead.

The clouds will precede the cold front set to return showers Monday night into Tuesday morning. Unlike recently, this front will not be followed by an extended cloudy, dreary and chilly spell.
A few degrees will get shaved off Monday's high for Tuesday. The day will still be mild for mid-April as some sunshine returns.

Cool air and rain will remain on hold through Wednesday and Thursday, but may return soon after.
After rain attempts to ruin a part of next weekend, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Mark Paquette states that "signs point to a slow-moving storm stalling somewhere near the Northeast and causing another extended period of damp, cloudy and cool weather [the week starting April 20]."
During that period, the air will be cool but not be quite as chilly as the recent dreary spell.
"We will not be dealing with a Canadian air mass," Paquette continued. "The storm will instead be manufacturing its own cool air with clouds limiting the warmer April sun."
