In wake of a wet Tuesday, dry and comfortable weather will settle into the city Wednesday before cooling off a bit on Thursday.
Sunshine will fuel another mild day on Wednesday, making it great for travel and outdoor activities. AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures will peak around 70 F Wednesday afternoon.
"The weather will be just spectacular for enjoying the outdoors on Wednesday," said AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist John Feerick.
Wednesday's warmth will be replaced by a slightly cooler Thursday. Highs will be about 5 to 10 degrees lower on Thursday.
A chilly high pressure system settling into the Northeast will be responsible for both the dry weather and slight cooldown.

Milder weather will return late this week, but it may be accompanied by plenty of clouds and some rain.
"Wet weather may make a return Friday and Saturday," said Feerick. "The best chance for rain should be on Saturday as a cold front approaches the region."
