Boston: Warmth Remains on Hold Through Thursday

Much to the dismay of those hoping otherwise, spring warmth will remain on hold around Boston through Thursday.
While jackets can be left at home across the mid-Atlantic on Tuesday, that will not be the case in Boston.
High temperatures in Boston will instead be held to a couple degrees of 40 F through Thursday after a cold front crosses the area and opens the door for fresh cool air from the northeast to pour in.
A brisk wind will create even lower AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.

Highs in the lower 50s are more typical in early April.
Umbrellas will also be a necessity as occasional rain and drizzle returns Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, the afternoon will prove to be wetter than the morning.

Outdoor plans may be forced indoors, while some sporting events and activities could be postponed.
The dreary conditions will hold for Thursday before temperatures rebound on Friday. An approaching cold front, however, may not allow Friday to turn out dry.
