Cool air moves in to start the new work-week in Philadelphia, but another surge of warmth is on the way.
After a cold front moves through the area late Sunday, there will be a shot of cool air moving into the region.
More fall-like temperatures will spread across the Northeast, dropping highs into the mid 70s for Monday.
The first regular season Eagles game on Monday night in Washington D.C. will be comfortable as well, with temperatures falling into the low 70s.
However, things will heat up again by Tuesday, as the cool air slides off into the northern Atlantic. This will allow warmer temperatures to push up from the South and highs again reaching into the lower 80s.

Later in the week, temperatures will surge into the mid 80s in Philadelphia. There will also be humidity with this heat.
The next front could bring a few spotty thunderstorms to the area Wednesday and Thursday. Storms could be strong, perhaps severe for Thursday.
