Following a cooler start to the week, Los Angles will begin to see a warming trend that will move into Southern California on Thursday. Sunny skies will accompany an increase in temperatures through Sunday, with temperatures in the middle to upper 80s for downtown. Temperatures near the beaches will be in the 70s while some valleys may get into the lower 90s.

Marine cloud coverage will decrease as the week progresses. By the weekend, any early cloud coverage should be confined to the coast and will dissipate throughout the mornings, leaving sunny skies for much of the area.

Nighttime temperatures will stay in the mid-60s. Sparse clouds may arrive for the overnight hours, particularly on Saturday.
