As a bowling ball of low pressure rolled into the Pacific Northwest, rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds broke out along Interstate 5 from Portland to Seattle on Sunday.
On Sunday morning, gusty winds arrived across northwestern Oregon and eastern Washington along with periods of rain, and the rainy weather is expected through late Tuesday evening.
A shower is possible on Wednesday, with Thursday being the only dry day of the week under partly sunny skies. Rain returns on Friday and Saturday.
