No Relief for Dallas as the Heat Carries On

Despite the tropical system in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico, Dallas will remain hot and sunny.
Although rain would be welcome in the city as drought conditions continue, there will little to no rain for the rest of the week.
Daytime highs will be in the high 90s with evening lows in the mid-70s for the remainder of the week through the weekend.
Temperatures on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will reach highs between 95 and 97 degrees.

Thursday will be hot and sunny with RealFeel® temperatures at 103 for the city's third annual hatch Chile roast and concert, kicking off the Mexican Independence Day weekend.
Partly clouds skies are in the forecast for Friday, bringing RealFeel® temperatures down a few degrees to 100.

The weekend will consist of mostly sunny skies as temperatures remain in the 90s.
During the evening hours on Sunday, skies will be clear for the Dallas Stars' first preseason game against the St. Louis Blues at the American Airlines Center.
